Grant Compass secured DKK 28 million from SEED Capital, Vækstfonden and North-East Family Office.

Grant Compass, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company running a local match engine for grants, announced that it secured funds totalling DKK 28M ($4.5M).

The money was raised from local investors SEED Capital, Vækstfonden and North-East Family Office and will be used to expand throughout Denmark, then in the rest of the Nordic region.

Grant Compass, founded in 2015 and led by CEO David Dencker, developed a software platform aiming to help about 10000 small foundation from Denmark manage the process of grant applications. The platform, which is called Legatbogen, automates the usually heavy, hand-held processing of applications, thus saving the small funds both time and money.
