Green Planet Astronauts to raise €1 million from Heino Group, Kale United and angel investors.
Green Planet Astronauts, a Helsinki, Finland-based producer of healthy food products for kids, raised an investment round closed at €1 million ($1.1M).
The money was raised from Nordic investors, namely the Finnish food company Heino Group, the Swedish investment company Kale United and Oskari Pétas, one of the founders at Wolt.
Green Planet Astronauts, founded in 2018 by CEO Milla Westerling, aims to promote the most sustainable and healthy choices for parents and their kids. All snack products manufactured by the company are tested by the children's jury and the main raw materials for plant-based organic products are oats, vegetables, berries and fruits. The company's organic oatmeal products are made in Spain and organic oatmeal bars in Switzerland - it says it made roughly €500k in sales in 2021.
Green Planet Astronauts previously raised $364k from a range of angel investors from Finland, including Stefan Lindberg, Juha-Petteri Kukkonen, Ali Omar, Hannu Ryöppönen, Andreas Rosenlew and Julia Jouhki.
