GRID Esports raised $10 million in Series A funding from JuJu Smith-Schuster, Alinea Capital, Bumble Ventures and Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder.
GRID Esports, a Berlin, Germany-based developer of an esports data platform, announced completing a $10 million capital funding round.
The money was raised from a range of investors including JuJu Smith-Schuster, Alinea Capital, Agileo Ventures, Bumble Ventures and Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder.
GRID, founded in 2018 by CEO Moritz Mauer, aims help esports tournament coordinators monetize and optimize the use of event data. The company is working with prominent esports tournament organizers such as Flash Point and WePlay, as it allows tournament organizers and game publishers to unlock the engagement and monetization potential of their official in-game data.
