Haltian announced raising EUR 9M from Inventure, Nordic Option and Ilmarinen

Haltian, an Oulu, Finland-based developer of IoT services for the electronics industry, announced the completion of a EUR 9M ($10.2M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by new and existing investors, including Inventure, Ilmarinen, Nordic Option, and a group of private investors through investment service SijoittajaPRO.

Haltian, founded in 2012 by former Nokia employees led by CEO Pasi Leipälä, focuses on IoT segments in Smart Facilities, Smart Washrooms and Smart Factories by providing an IoT platform and devices under Thingsee brand. The platform offers a data collection solution for customers to launch and run new commercial IoT solutions to new verticals.

Prior to this round, at the end of 2018, Haltian completed a €4.5M investment round led by Inventure.
