Helvengo to raise CHF4.2M from TX Ventures along with Hypoport, PostFinance, Seed X Liechtenstein et al.

Helvengo, a Zurich, Switzerland-based insurance startup, announced completing a seed round closed at CHF 4.2 million ($4.6M).

The money was raised from investors led by TX Ventures along with Hypoport, PostFinance, Seed X, Anamcara Capital, Plug and Play, Conny&Co, and business angels.

The proceeds will be used for expansion into the German and European markets.

Helvengo, founded in 2020 Vedran Pranjic, Benedikt Andreas and Felix Huemer (all three former employees at wefox from Germany), is operating an insurance business, selling products to entrepreneurs and SMEs. The company developed tech for risk analysis, based on which it automatically compiles offers for professional liability, cyber and D&O insurance.

Helvengo previously raised investment from Hypoport, Seed X, and angel investor Cornelius Boersch back in 2021.
