HLTV.org was acquired by Better Collective for $38M.

Better Collective, a a Copenhagen, Denmark-based sports betting media group, announced that it acquired HLTV.org ApS, a Danish esports platform

The deal, which included the assets HLTV.org and dust2.dk, was made for DKK 257M ($38M), and was paid in cash and stock.

HLTV.org, founded in 2002 by CEO Martin Rosenbæk, developed an esports platform focusing on “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO)”. providing news from the esport industry, CS:GO match information and player and team rankings to the global esports audience.

The site has been the most popular site for CS:GO enthusiasts across the world, with, on average, more than 26.5 million visits per month.
