Hopin secures $125 million in a series B round led by IVP and Tiger Global.

Hopin, a London, UK-based operator of a virtual events platform, announced that it raised $125 million in a series B round.

The money was raised from investors led by IVP and Tiger Global in a deal putting a $2.125 billion valuation of the company. Other investors part of the transaction include including Northzone, Salesforce Ventures, Seedcamp, Accel, DFJ Growth and Coatue.

Hopin was founded in June 2019 by CEO Johnny Boufarhat, who wanted to build a platform powering virtual events. In October 2019 raised a pre-seed round from Sedcamp and Andrew Weisz, and in February 2020 £5M in a round led by Accel.

The company has 200 employees, 3.5 million users, and serves 50,000 organizations at an ARR (annual recurring revenue) of $20 million.
