Hubro to get NOK 4M from Vigmostad & Bjorke and Norwegian angel investors.

Hubro, an Oslo, Norway-based company providing digital education tools, completed a NOK 4M ($440k) capital investment round.

The funding included strategic investor Vigmostad & Bjorke and undisclosed angel investors.

Hubro, founded in 2013 by Emil Johan Oliver as a spin-off company from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, develops digital products used as a supplement to the lectures, and can act as the practical part of the course.

One of the company's product is a web-based learning tool called the Hubro Business Simulation. It gives the students of business economics and managerial accounting courses a better understanding of their curriculum, through running a company in a virtual market. 

Hubro is in use in 130 educational institutions in 13 countries .
