Hungrig.se was acquired by Delivery Hero

Hungrig.se, a Lund, Sweden-registered company operating a food delivery business, announced that it was acquired by the Germans from Delivery Hero.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The CEO of Hungrig, Samir Bachkami, will become Delivery Hero's CEO for Sweden.

Hungrig.se, founded in 2011 by Marcus Gullin, Henrik Jönsson and Samir Bachkami, covers 22 cities from the Southern part of Sweden, supported by about 60 employees. The company was almost breakeven at about $4M in sales for 2017.
