Invesdor announced closing €1.9 million in funding from new and existing investors.

Invesdor, a Helsinki, Finland-based company operating a crowdfunding investment platform, announced that it secured €1.86 million ($2M) in capital investment.

The money round was provided by new and existing investors, including WJM Investments, the Nordic Angel Fund, Speedinvest Fintech VC Funds and Taaleri Asset Management

Invesdor, founded in 2012 and led by CEO Lasse Mäkelä, operates a digital investment platform in the Nordics and DACH region, actively operating in six countries: Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria and Germany. The company is headquartered in Helsinki and has offices also in Vienna and Stockholm.

In May 2019 Invesdor merged with the Austrian crowdinvesting platform Finnest, which offers debt-based crowdfunding for medium-sized (Mittelstand) companies.
