Isar Aerospace announced raising $17 million in Series A round led by Earlybird and Airbus Ventures

Isar Aerospace, a Munich, Germany-based space vehicles manufacturer, announced that it raised $17 million in Series A investment round.

The money was raised from invstors led by Earlybird and Airbus Ventures, with existing investors Vito Ventures and UVC Partners participating alongside angels Bulent Altan and Christian Angermayer’s Apeiron Investment Group.

Isar Aerospace, founded in 2018 by CEO Daniel Metzler, Josef Fleischmann and Markus Brandl, aims to develop low-cost launch vehicles dedicated to deploying and resupplying satellite constellations.
