Kitchen Time was acquired by Bergendahls.

Kitchen Time, an Uppsala, Sweden-based kitchenware ecommerce operation, announced that it was acquired by Bergendahls, a local family-owned trading company from Sweden.

Financial details were not disclosed. Post deal, existing owners Verdane and business angel Lars-Göran Ahlberger will exit their equity positions, while the company will be controlled by Bergendahls (53%), angel investors Stefan Daun and Ralph Axelson as well as the founders of the company. Verdane had previously invested in 2016.

Kitchen Time was founded in 2010 in Uppsala under the name lykka.se, which it changed in 2014. The company is active in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark and used acquisitions for accelerated growth in the past, as in January 2016 announced it had bought four more companies for expansion.
