Kuori announces a €1M investment in the company

Kuori, an Espoo, Finland-based company manufacturing giant tablets, announced in a press release securing €1 million ($1.2M) in capital investment added to the company. The money comes from a local electronics distributor, Insmat, and included a contribution from Business Finland.

Kuori, founded in 2015 by husband and wife Maria and Jarkko Jokelainen, developed Yetitablet, a giant tablet computer that can be used in education, team collaboration, hospitality, and other sectors. The tablets are produced in a variety of sizes from 27" to 98" with 4K resolution, and can run Android, Windows, or both.

Kuori has launched pilot projects with care institutions in Finland, Germany, and Japan and estimate to reach a €2M in revenue by the end of 2018 from customers in construction, hospitality, and commercial retail.
