Kvist raises NOK 5.5 million from Alliance Ventures, Startup Lab Founders et al.

Kvist, a Trondheim, Norway-based startup developing a a platform that automates paperwork for constructing green buildings certifications, announced that it completed a NOK 5.5 million ($610k) capital funding round.

The money was raisedf locally from Norway, from investors including Alliance Venture (3 million), Startuplabs Founders Fund (2 million) and Vater (half a million) - for a valuation of NOK 29.5 million ($3.3M).

Kvist, founded in 2020 by Fabian Elvegård Utigard, Thomas Rankin, Mathias Picker, Øyvind Schjerven, Anniken Syvertsen, Mathias Berntzen Engevik and Henrik Udnes, developed a software tool helping with the construction development certifications. The tool simplifies and automates large parts of the work with environmental certifications in construction projects (so-called BREEAM projects - Building Research Establishment Environment Assessment Method). The application puts all data in a system, so that the stakeholders can spend less time on documentation work and more time on the construction project itself.
