Leia, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup developing a mobile social network for mothers, announced the completion of a SEK 5.6 million ($620k) capital raise.

The money was raised locally from a range of investors from Sweden and Denmark, including The Case for her, Crista Galli Ventures, Fast Track Malmö's accelerator, Liseno (Danish family company), Erik Engellau-Nilsson (Norrsken Foundation), Johan Flodin (ex-Kry), Jonas Axelsson and Erwan Lemonnier (Spotify, Gofrendly).

Leia, founded in 2021 by CEO Astrid Gyllenkrok Kristensen and Sandra Wirström, developed a mobile app aiming to help new mothers with pre and post natal advice.
