Likeminded secures €3.5 million from Heartcore Capital and Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) Seed Fund
Likeminded, a Berlin, Germany-based operator of a digital mental health platform, announced completing a €3.5 million ($4.2M) financing round.
The money was raised from Copenhagen-based VC Heartcore Capital (Christian Jepsen) and Germany's Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) Seed Fund. Existing investor Christian Weiss also contributed to the round - Weiss is, among other things, CEO of Gesundheitscloud, which was founded by the Hasso Plattner Institute.
Likeminded, founded in 2020 by the psychologist Kimberly Breuer, Maximilian Heberger and Stefan Anca, developed a digital platform for mental health that gives people fast, low-threshold access to psychological support.
The platform is sold to other companies, and provides access to courses on topics such as fear, relationship, self-esteem, stress and depression, group sessions are supplemented by individual discussions and individual check-ins with psychologists as well as suitable exercises, key questions and explanations. Like-minded people can come together in small groups, share their experiences in a safe environment and continue to support each other within the Likeminded community even after the course. These sessions are led by psychological mentors.
