The Plate in a $1.3 million pre-seed funding round led by Atlantic Food Labs.

The Plate, a Berlin, Germany-based startup building a social network for chefs, announced that it completed a $1.3 million funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Atlantic Food Labs and joined by Village Global and GE Ventures.

The Plate was founded in 2021 by Nadine Erk and CEO Isabell Weiser, is yet to be launched and runs with 20 employees based in Berlin and Manila (Philippines).
