Lingokids announced series C funding of $40 million from GP Bullhound, HV Capital and Ravensburger.

Lingokids, a Madrid, Spain-based company providing learning services for preschool and elementary school children, completed a fresh investment round of $40 million.

The money was raised from investors including GP Bullhound, HV Capital and Ravensburger.

Proceeds will be used for international growth as well as to expand the company's offerings related to science technology engineering and math (STEM).

Lingokids, founded in 2016 as Monkimun by CEO Cristobal Viedma, built a learning platform available via a mobile app providing English language learning for children in the preschool and elementary school age. The platform is available via a subscription-based language learning app, aimed at engaging children through various activities, games and songs. The company says ot reaches more than 30 million families worldwide with its mobile apps. and works with partners including Save the Children, UNICEF, UNHCR and American Red Cross.

Lingokids previously secured $10 million in 2020 out of a total of $22.4M.
