Linkura adds SEK 6M for a stress measuring wearable.
Linkura, a Linköping, Sweden-based company working on the development of a wearable that measures stress, announced a SEK 6M ($730k) capital round added to the company.
The money comes from backers including Almi Invest, Linköping University and angel investors Mattias Weinhandl, Lars Svensson and Simon Josefsson At the same time, the company announced appointing Cecilia Storåkers Hjelmstedt and Mattias Falkendal in the board of directors.
Linkura, founded in 2013 by Johan Gunnarsson, Gustaf Hansen and Anders Johansson based on research made at Linköping University, developed a measurement device that people can strap around their chest and which measures the stress levels, sleep activities and sedentary factors. The device is targeted to companies interested in assessing and reducing stress among employees.
The company accounted sales of SEK 3.6M and lost SEK 900k in 2017. In 2015, Linkura raised SEK 3.5M (400k) from investors.
