Los Tacos was acquired by MVI Equity

Los Tacos, a Bergen, Norway-based company operating a chain restuarnat within Norway, announced getting into an investment agreement for selling the company.

The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made for 50.1% of the shares, which were acquired by the Swedish private equity company MVI Equity from the majority shareholder Simon Simonnæs. Following the deal, minority owner the EIK Group, will own 37.5 per cent of the shares. The EIK purchased equity in the company in June 2017.

Los Tacos, founded in 2012, currently consists of five restaurants, located in five cities in Norway, and following a concept similar to Chipotle in the United States.
