Mansa to raise €18 million in debt and equity.
Mansa, a Paris, France-based operator of a loan marketplace for freelancers, announced completing funds to the company totalling €18 million ($21.5M).
The money is a combination of €12 million in debt and €6 million equity raised from a range of investors including Anthemis Group, Founders Future, Yannick Bolloré, Romain Afflelou, Didier Valet, Mathieu Laine and Laurent Ritter.
Mansa, founded in 2019 by CEO Ali Rami, Benjamin Cambier and Remy Tinco, developed a loan marketplace that is using a new scoring model allowing self-employed and freelance workers to apply for credit online. The company has 20 employees and in 2020 provided loans worth of €1.5 million.
