Mater announced securing a capital fundig round backed by Nordic Alpha Partners.

Mater, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based manufacturer of a high end furniture design brand, announced the completion of a capital fundraise round.

The deal was made with local investors from Denmark, Nordic Alpha Partners, joined by existing shareholders from North-East Venture.

Mater, founded in 2006 by CEO Henrik Marstrand, designs sustainable high-end furniture for private and commercial clients. The company produces and sells furniture and lighting products, including bar stools, daybeds, dining chairs, table lamps and floor lamps.

Mater previously raised funding from North East Venture, which invested in the company back in 2018.
