MedAll, a Belfast, UK-based startup building a virtual medical school, announced completing a $3.4 million seed funding round.

The money was raised from a range of investors led by UK-based Connect Ventures, and joined by Seedcamp, Ascension, TechstartNina Capital and angel investor Sarah Friar.

MedAll, founded in 2017 by Phil McElnay, developed a virtual and hybrid healthcare training platform accessible to healthcare organisations enabling them to deliver and share their training content online with healthcare professionals around the world. The company says that its platform provided access to healthcare training sessions for 900+ organisations across 20+ countries, and that it has been used by one third of UK medical students and one fifth of UK postgraduate trainee doctors to attend teaching and training sessions - as well as healthcare professionals in over 160 countries.

MedAll was initially pre-seeded by Seedcamp, Ascension and Techstart back in 2020.
