MediQuo, a Barcelona, Spain-based startup operating a mobile app for medical consultations, announced the completion of €2 million ($2.2M) in capital investment.

The funding was provided by new and existing investors, including the German venture capital company Target Global. At the same time, the company announced that Bruno Cuevas, former CEO of Schibsted, will become a co-CEO of the company.

MediQuo, founded in 2017 by CEO Guillem Serra, José López and Albert Castells, provides acess to a mobile platform for medical consultations. Since its launch in Spain, more than 30,000 users have already downloaded the app on their smartphone and have registered more than 145,000 medical consultations.

Prior to this, MediQuo raised about €4.5 million in financing.
