Medpeople raised SEK 5M from Gullspång Invest.

Medpeople, a Stockholm, Sweden-based developer of a cloud-based solution for the healthcare staffing, secured SEK 5M ($550k) in capital investment.

The backing was provided by Gullspång Invest and money will be used to accelerate to company's growing operations as well as for product development.

Medpeople, founded in 2017 and by CEO Kave Soultani and Niclas Nilsson, built a cloud-based solution for the healthcare staffing people including licensed doctors and nurses looking for additional ways of making money by working as consultants. The company works with about 3,000 consultants and 200 different healthcare departments from Sweden and expects sales to reach around SEK 12 million ($1.3M) for 2018.
