Microverse announced closing a $12.5M Series A funding round led by Northzone.
Microverse, a Spanish startup providing remote engineering education against ISAs, announced closing a $12.5 million series A funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Northzone and joined by previous investors General Catalyst, and All Iron Ventures.
Northzone’s General Partner, Michiel Kotting, will be joining Microverse's board of directors.
Microverse, founded in 2018 by CEO Ariel Camus, built an online school for training of software engineers worldwide that doesn't charge students anything until they get hired. Students learn remotely and collaboratively with peers around the world, receive support from mentors and a team of professional coaches, and don't pay anything until they land life-changing jobs in software development.
The company previously raised $3.2 million in 2020 and was part of Y Combinator in 2019.
