Mjuk in a $4.2 million funding round backed by Alliance Venture and Lifeline Ventures.

Mjuk, an Espoo, Finland-based startup building a marketplace for quality secondhand furniture, completed an equity funding round closed at $4.2 million.

The money was raised from investors from Norway Alliance Venture and from Finland Lifeline Ventures.

Mjuk, founded in 2019 by CEO Rickard Zilliacus, Casper von Pfaler and Max Heino, developed and operates a full-service marketplace for buying and selling quality second-hand furniture. The company deals with the entire process, from picking up the furniture from the customer and handling sales, and is active in Finland and Sweden. It produced sales of €1.5 million ($1M) in 2021 when it also raised €1.4 million.
