Momentus to raise SEK 3.5 million from Avesina Group, Propel Capital and Mattias Weinhandl’s Pluscap AB.

Momentus, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup developing a moble app that helps women with recovery, support and guidance to proper care after pregnancy and childbirth, announced raising SEK 3.5 million ($386k) in an equity fundraising round.

The money was raised from investors from Sweden, namely Avesina Group, Propel Capital and Mattias Weinhandl’s Pluscap AB.

Momentus, founded in 2021 by CEO Maria Undén Morein, Rebecka Wedlund, Cajsa Schalling and Emma Aronsson, developed a mobile app that gives new mothers all the knowledge they need about their own bodies and health after childbirth. They receive medically reviewed information, in a timeline based on time since delivery, presented in a format specifically and uniquely adapted to the needs of a new mother.
