Monta announced extending its seed round with $5.2 million from 15 angel investors.
Monta a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup building a charging points marketplace for EV owners, announced the completion of a DKK 32.5 million ($5.2M) capital raise.
The money was raised from a number of 15 angel investors, and complements a $4.7 million initial round provided by byFounders, &grow ventures, and Pale Blue Dot in March 2021.
Monta, founded in 2020 by CEO Casper Rasmussen and Anders Pedersen, developed a mobile app that connects the owners of electric vehicles charging points and opens them up in a marketplace for a peer to peer conection with drivers looking to charge their cars. Once a charging point owner is hooked into Monta's network, they can decide their pricing levels.
