MyoSwiss raised CHF 2.2 million and added T-Robotics as new investor in the company.

MyoSwiss, a Zurich, Switzerland-based healtcare device manufacturer for people with mobility impairments, announced that it raised CHF 2.2 million ($2.4M).

The money was provided by new and existing investors and included contributions from T-Robotics, a leading robotics company from South Korean developing industrial and healthcare robots.

Proceeds will be used to fuel company's ambitions to grow.

MyoSwiss, founded in 2017 as an ETH Spin-off and led by CEO Jaime Duarte, develops solutions that improve the quality of life of people living with mobility impairments by empowering them to be physically active. The company's product is the Myosuit, a wearable muscle (exomuscle) that combines robotics and functional textiles to support users in their daily activities such as walking, negotiating stairs, and standing up or sitting down.
