Newsvoice raises SEK 2M in capital provided by Almi and angel investors.

Newsvoice, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup working on a mobile news application, announced securing SEK 2M ($240k) in capital investment.

The money comes from local angel investors, including Lars Appelstål, BLCBX Investment Group and the state-owned investment firm Almi Invest.

Newsvoice, founded in 2017 by CEO Viktor Lidholt, developed a mobile app for crowdsourced news. The company is backed by Propel Capital as it was part of Sting Accelerator at the beginning of 2017.
