Nuuk Mobility raised two million euros.

Nuuk Mobility Solutions, an Etxebarri (Bilbao), Spain-based manufacturer specialized in the design and development of light electric vehicles, announced that it raised capital for two million euros ($2.4M).

The new funds will be used to promote its technological development and the design of new electric vehicles, in addition to expand in international markets.

Nuuk Mobility, founded in 2017, is specialized in implementing 'eMobilty' (electric mobility) solutions, from design, to industrialization or maintenance, through channels dedicated to both individuals and companies. The design and development of the models is carried out in Bizkaia, while their industrialization and assembly is carried out at the facilities of the Catalan motorcycle manufacturer Rieju.

The models are made on demand, as Nuuk already has a deal with Correos España, which made an initial order for 600 electric motorcycles, and with the Costa Rican postal operator, which acquired 200 electric scooters.
