Omni, a London, UK-based alternative food producer for pets, announced completing a £1.1 million ($1.5M) seed funding round.

The money was raised from multiple investors from Germany and Sweden, including ProVeg International, Trellis Road, Purple Orange Ventures, Shiocap, and Kale United, as well as angel investors Vera Baker as part of the Atomico Angel Programme as well as Brendan Robinson, the Founder of Village Vet.

Omni, founded in 2020 by Guy Sandelowsky and Shiv Sivakumar, is building a vet-backed plant-based food company for dogs. The products are 100% plant-based, nutritionally-complete dog food as the company says the plant-based proteins for pets are becoming popular due to an overall concern about pet health and wellness and an overarching concern about sustainability

Total investments received (USD): 1.5M
