Opal announced raising $4.3M in a seed round led by Nico Wittenborn at Adjacent

Opal, a Paris, France-based startup company building a mobile app for consumers, announced that it raised a $4.3 million capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Adjacent (represented by Nico Wittenborn) and included contributions from a range of others including Speedinvest, ISAI, Harry Stebbings and Steve Schlafman.

Other investors that were part of the investment round are Alex Zubillaga, Kevin Carter, Thibaud Elziere, Jean-Charles Samuelian, Alban Denoyel, Secocha, Paul Michaux.

Opal, founded in 2020 by CEO Kenneth Schlenker, developed a mobile app positioned as a digital wellbeing assistant. The app uses a science-backed approach to disconnect distractions from your phone, set intentions, schedule time off, and focus on what matters.
