Orbital Machines raises $215k.

Orbital Machines, a Trondheim, Norway-based company manufacturing an innovative electric turbopump for orbital carrier chains, closed an investment round totalling NOK 1,825,800 ($215k).

The money was raised from 142 investors via a crowdfunding campaign on Folkeinvest.

Orbital Machines was founded in 2018 by serial entrepreneur Eivind Liland, formerly behind Swarm 64, with the aim to develop an innovative pump for space companies. The product is specifically a turbopump that can quickly transfer huge amounts of fuel to a high back pressure in the rocket engine.
