Petgood to raise SEK 19 million in a round backed by Course Corrected.

Petgood, a Stockholm, Sweden-based producer and DTC seller of insect-based pet food, raised a new funding round closed at SEK 19 million ($2M).

The money was raised locally from Sweden, from investors including Course Corrected, Noel AbdayemDaniel Skaven Ruben and Jan Carl Adelswärd and Joakim Hartzell via their joint investment company Civitus.

Petgood, founded as Funcifur in 2020 by CEO Pernilla Westergren and Thomas Dalebring, operates a pet food business providing a complete insect-based dog food range packed with natural and high quality insect-protein, vitamins, minerals and fatty acids. The products are sold online via its owned e-commerce store.

The company previously raised an angel funding round closed in 2021 and backed by investors including Noel AbdayemDaniel Skaven Ruben and Jan Carl Adelswärd and Joakim Hartzell via their joint investment company Civitus.
