Pimloc announced raising £1.4 million in a seed funding round led by Amadeus Capital Partners and including Speedinvest.

Pimloc, a London, UK-based SAAS security developer for video solutions, announced completing a seed capital round of £1.4 million ($1.8M).

The money was raised from investors from Europe led by Amadeus Capital and including Speedinvest and existing shareholders.

Pimloc, founded at the end of 2016 by CEO Simon Randall, provides specialist deep learning services for video security and data privacy applications.

The company developed a world leading platform for the ingestion, detection, classification, and protection of image and video content and has two products in its portfolio: Pholio, a search and discovery platform for large image and video collections and live streams, and Secure Redact, a data privacy platform for the anonymisation of personal data in video. They’re currently used in a range of sectors including mobility, insurance, entertainment, broadcasting and law enforcement.
