Playmore Games Inc., a Helsinki, Finland-based gaming company that designs tabletop games and their digital extensions has closed a 250 000 euro ($278k) in an investment round. The money comes part from companies and part from private investors. The largest investments were from the Joensuu companies Nolwenture Ltd. and Davigia Ltd. Nolwenture Ltd. will also be a part of developing Dized.

The investment will allow the company to develop their Dized-application as well as a more comprehensive worldwide tabletop game distribution.

Playmore, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Jouni Jussila, develops and publishes modern tabletop games, as well as Dized, a digital service for board games, which would be useful to everyone from developers to players. The first proof of concept of Dized that was released with the company’s first board game showed that traditional board games can benefit significantly of additional digital content.
