Quant has acquired Sataservice Oy.

Quant, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing maintenance services, announced the acquisition of the Finnish company Sataservice Oy, a leading industrial maintenance provider in Western and Southern Finland with a strong presence in the growing and stable food and beverage segment.

The acquisition has the financial details undisclosed and is aimed to significantly strengthen Quant’s foothold in the Nordic region.

Sataservice, led by CEO Thomas Luther, maintains and optimises the performance of machinery for its clients, specialising in the food and drink and manufacturing sectors. It is headquartered in Rauma in the south of Finland and operates from 14 sites across the country.

Quant is an ABB spinoff which was bought by Nordic Capital in 2014. The company has since become a global leader in industrial maintenance, operating internationally on 76 customer sites in close to 30 countries and employing about 2,600 people.
