Quartr announced a $2.6 million seed round extension backed by The Öhman Group.
Quartr, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based startup building a mobile app for investor conference calls, secured $2.6 million in a seed extension round.
The money was raised from existing investors led by Öhmangruppen, joined by Flat Capital, Centripetal Capital, as well as by angel investors from USA Michael Batnick, Josh Brown, and Barry Ritholtz.
Quartr, founded in 2020 by CEO Sami Osman, Oliver Hamrin, Oscar Küntzel, August Nordström and David Dag, developed a service for listed companies providing them with a space for uploading relevant information for investors, as well as with access to recordings of earnings calls and financial documents from major companies. The service is available via a mobile app and is in use by retail investors.
Quartr previously raised $1.6 million from angel investors from Sweden and the USA earlier in 2021, followed late in the year by a $5 million deal led by Öhman.
