Reduced to raise €2.9 million in a funding round led by Vækstfonden and VÅR Ventures, alongside Rockstart, Pollen Capital and business angels.

Reduced, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based producer of alternative food products (plant-based flavor enhancers) out of organic surplus produce, raised €2.9 million ($3.1 million).

The money was raised from investors led by Vækstfonden and VÅR Ventures, joined by Rockstart, Pollen Capital and business angels. 

Reduced, founded in 2020 by Emil Munck de Voos and William Anton Lauf Olsen, is a food production company specialising in creating high-quality food products made from organic surplus produce. The company's product is stock that is made out of vegetables, protein and other sources of nutrition leftover from the conventional food industry. The product is sold directly to restaurants or via retailers.

Reduced previously raised a funding round in 2021.
