Resourcify raised €3 million in a round led by Speedinvest.

Resourcify GmbH, a Hamburg, Germany-based SAAS develper of a cloud platform for digital waste management, announced securing €3 million ($3.7M) in a capital fundraise.

The money was raised from investors led by Austria-headquartered Speedinvest, joined by existing shareholders from the Innovationsstarter Fonds Hamburg.

Angel investors from Germany also contributed to the round.

Resourcify, founded in 2015 by CEO Gary Lewis, built a cloud-platform for digital waste management, with a focus on simplicity, neutrality and sustainability. The platform, Mein Recycling, aims to help businesses easily manage their waste, and recyclers to seamlessly connect with their customers online.

Resourcify has customers from 7 countries across Europe, as it says it's in use by 220 waste management companies now manage over €25 million worth of waste at 4,300 locations. It previously raised a €1M funding round backed by HTGF and the Innovationsstarter Fonds Hamburg in 2018.
