Savana Médica in a $25 million funding round led by Conexo Ventures

Savana Médica, a Madrid, Spain-based SAAS provider for the healthcare industry, raised $25 million in a series B growth funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Conexo Ventures, joined by Knuru Ventures, Cathay Innovation, Aldea Ventures and Seaya Ventures.

Savana, founded in 2014 by CEO Jorge Tello Guijarro and Ignacio Hernandez Medrano, helps hospitals to extract insights from doctor’s notes for the first time to optimise their operations and boost research and innovation in clinical practice. The company claims to have processed over 2 billion medical records from 200 hospitals in 16 countries across Western Europe and the Americas.

Prior to this round, Savana raised around $20 million - $15 million series A in 2020 and €3.8 million seed in 2018.
