Secto Automotive acquired the business operations of OP Kulku.
Secto Automotive, a Porvoo, Finland-based leasing company, announced that it acquired OP Kulku, a Finnish dealer of electric cars.
The financial details were not disclosed. With the transaction, OP Kulku's corporate and private customers will be transferred to Secto Automotive. At the same time, a new provider of private leasing services will be launched.
OP Kulku offers electric cars with a monthly fee for both companies and consumers.
Secto, founded in 2007 and led by CEO Ville Alanen, is the largest Finnish leasing company. The company launched the first electric cars in 2010 and today manages one of Finland's largest electric car fleets. Secto has 90 employees and the revenue for 2018 was EUR 224 million.
