Shifter, an Oslo, Norway-based media startup, entered into an investment agreement with the local media group Schibsted.

The deal was made through Schibsted's asset, E24, for an equity participation of 8%.

Shifter, founded in 2016 by journalists Lucas Weldeghebriel and Per-Ivar Nikolaisen, started as a blog covering local startups and investments from Norway. The company previously raised capital investment from a range of Norwegan angle investors, including Harald Strømme, Henrik Lie-Nielsen and Johan Brand.
