Singa raises €1.75M in seed funding for scaling its digital karaoke product.

Singa, a Helsinki, Finland-based startup providing a digital karaoke service, announced raising a new investment round totalling €1.75M ($2M). The backers include local Finnish investors Tamares Group, Superhero Capital, Reaktor and Tekes.

Singa, founded in 2013 by Atte Hujanen (CEO) and Tomi Pajunen, has developed a platform with a catalog of karaoke songs for personal and commercial use. Besides the power users which use it for own consumption, the service is also aimed at bars and entertainment venues or non-profit use in schools, libraries and elderly care homes.

Prior to this investment, Singa raised €525k ($650k) in 2015.
