Skrap raised £1.2m in seed funding from Vanneck Investments and angel investors from UK.
Skrap, a Wembley (London), UK-based mobile app for a finding skip and construction hires, announced that it has raised £1.2 million ($1.6M).
The round was led by Vanneck Investments, with participation from a host of entrepreneurs and angels investors like Charles Songhurst, Eamon Jubbawy (Onfido), Anil Stocker (MarketFinance), Paul Huntingdon (ARM), Adrian Beecroft, Dennis Stevenson, Peter Brodnicki (MAB), Jay Radia (Yieldify, Reachdesk), and James Hind (Carwow).
Money will be used to accelerate growth across major cities.
Skrap, founded by Marwan Field, Hussain Hilli and Ahmed Rao, built a mobile app that makes it easy to hire on demand skip and construction services providers. The company has worked with hundreds of suppliers across London, Manchester and Birmingham and is backed by a team of 25.
