Soundsensing secured NOK 3.2 million from public and private investors.
Soundsensing, an Oslo, Norway-based startup developing a noise montiroing software solution, completed a funding round of NOK 3.2M.
The funding is part loan (NOK 2M) provided by Innovsajon Norge and part equity funding (NOK 1.2M/$130k backed by angel investors from Norway, including Trond Riiber Knudsen, Espen Einn, Erlend Bolle, Kris Riise, Kristian Enger and Remi Dramstad.
Soundsensing, founded in 2019 by Jon Nordby, Ole Johan Aspestrand Bjerke (CEO) and Erik Sjølund, developed a sensor-based device that helps with real time noise monitoring in construction, traffic management and real-estate industries. The noise monitor has been developed to work through a mobile app that sends the data of a specified area for being monitored. Through machine learning, it collects the noise and is able to differentiate the source.
