Storytel acquires Printz Publishing through Norstedts Förlagsgruppe.

Norstedts Förlagsgruppe, a Stockholm, Sweden-based publishing house, owned by Storytel, announcd the acquisition of the publishing house Printz Publishing.

The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed. Sellers are Pia Printz and Anna Levahn, who will continue with the company. Printz Publishing will continue to be independently run as part of Norstedts Förlagsgruppe

Printz Publishing, led by Pia Printz, was founded in 2010 and had approximately SEK 20M in 2017 with a reported profit after financial items of approximately SEK 4M.

Norstedts Förlagsgruppe, led by CEO Otto Sjöberg and part of Storytel, was founded in 1823 and is Sweden's oldest publishing house. Norstedts Publishing Group includes Norstedts, Rabén & Sjögren, B. Wahlströms, Massolit and Norstedts Kartor.
