Submer, a Barcelona, Spain-based developer of innovative cooling tech for data centers, raised a new funding round closed at €30 million ($34 million).

The money was raised from investors including Mundi Ventures, Norrsken VC and Planet First Partners.

Submer, founded in 2015 by CEO Daniel Pope and Pol Valls, aims to make operating and constructing datacenters more sustainable and efficient. The company develops a revolutionary computing liquid immersion cooling solution for data centers that saves up to 99% of cooling costs.

Prior to this round, in 2018, Submer secured funding of $17 million, in 2020 when it raised $12 million and in 2018 when in raised €3.9M from Alma Mundi Ventures.
